Ahh Chicago, what a great time in our lives, our son was born there and it was our first real taste of city life. From a work perspective i got to EP Gatorade and Propel and oversaw multimillion dollar budgets, a team of seriously talented producers and our creatives found some amazing ways to bring celebs and athletes to the forefront of storytelling. During this time i scratched off 3 directors on my top 10 list. I’d still say the Propel spots are probably the best anyone has done for them.
CME crushed it in the award shows thank you Chelsea Pictures and Evan.
And “The Road” opened my eyes in many ways. We were on the cusp of social content creation with albeit lame platforms by today’s standards but still. We went out as small productions teams across months of games to build that spot, shooting with HD in it’s infancy. Being more vested in the production process helped me realize how much more one could do as a producer.
